Welcome to My Books

        Judy presently lives in Northeast Florida with her husband Bob.  Writing brings her joy, and she loves sharing her stories with others, especially her three children and six grandchildren. Her writings include books, life stories with humor, and fairy tales with a twist.  She has also written poems and prose, some of which she has added to her writings. 

        She wants her words to be a gift to her family, friends, and everyone so that these memories will not be lost but remembered with warmth and love.  Each of these different people and personalities hold a thread that weaves through the diverse and colorful stories.  Anyone who has a ‘family’ will find their own fond childhood memories.

         Her latest published book, Decatur Stories, the 1950s with Judy, is filled with charming and fun tales of her teen years in Decatur and North Georgia. Each chapter is a short story in itself with dialogue and humor all based on her actual life. As many Southerners do, she added a bit of salt to the grits for more flavor. Friends and Family are treasures in this book.

         Her second book is, The Adventures of Benji, Pansy, and Herzhog, an exciting and humorous Fairy Tale filled with witches, wizards, royals and fantastical creatures. It is beautifully printed book with colorful illustrations of her characters. Written in a rhythmic charm of fantasy, it is fun for every age. 

        The series of books Reaching for Life, began with her first published book, Judy’s Story of Waycross.  It is about her early childhood in a small South Georgia town during the 1940’s. Each of the personalities hold a thread that weaves through her diverse and colorful stories. Anyone with a Family will find their own childhood memories.
